Even typhoon Ondoy has a theme song!

Yes guys, even typhoon Ondoy has a theme song! Someone made it in-tune of Bahay Kubo, and I won’t be surprise if one day we’ll find a music video for this song. Sadly, we don’t know who is behind this song.

So here’s the lyrics, enjoy singing!

Ondoy’s Theme Song
by unknown person

Bahay ko po
dami putik
ang pumasok doon
ay sari sari
Nalamas na karton
sirang mejas at damit
silya, basurang
mapanghe!
ONDOY parusa
binura Marikina
at saka meron pa
lumubog na Edsa!
Montalban at Pasig
Taytay at Cainta
sa paligid ligid ay
puno ng BAHA!

Things I am thankful for…

When Bagyong Ondoy hits our little 3rd world country my family and I are…

1. On the way to Manila for my follow-up checkup. Kaso nasa may Filinvest area pa lang kami di na nagalaw ung traffic. We’re blessed kasi we’re not stuck in the middle of the traffic, we’re able to turn to Filinvest Fiesta Mall and stayed there for a while.

2. Since we decided to head back to Laguna, super traffic naman sa SLEX Southwoods area. Another blessed situation kasi we’re able to stay sa Petron gas station. There, together with the others we waited na umusad ang mga sasakyan.

3. While others are stuck in their vehicles for 3-12hrs, kami ay nakaupo sa mcdo for 4hrs. Atleast may available na CR and food.

4. When we finally decided to go home, nag-open ng daan sa counterflow kaya dun na kami dumaan. Blessed talaga kasi nakita namin ung ibang sasakyan na stuck sa traffic as in di nagalaw kasi ang taas pa din ng water sa may Southwoods, habang kami eh tuloy-tuloy lang ang takbo.

8. Nang dumating kami sa bahay, BROWNOUT!
Well atleast brownout lang, hindi binaha or natabunan ng mud or gumuho ang bahay namin.

All in all, we’re blessed talaga dahil un lang ang inabot namin.

Makonsensya kayo!
