My favorite Christmas song

It’s just 44 days and counting to go before Christmas, I’m so excited! With all the gift giving, monito-monita, our karaoke tradition, foods, kids, happy family and everything, I just simply can’t wait for December 25, 2010! Not sure, but I guess this is our last Christmas here in the Philippines that’s why we are all excited to make this one memorable and hoping that our Christmas 2011 will be celebrated in New Jersey, USA.

While I’m counting for the days, I just want to share with you guys my favorite Christmas song. It’s “O Holy Night”, composed by Mr. Adolphe Adam in 1847 and originally in French. Minister John Sullivan Dwight was the one who created the song version in 1855.

Here’s a video of a 7 year old girl who sang this song very well.

Here’s the lyrics to and let’s all sing along.

O Holy Night! The stars are brightly shining,
It is the night of the dear Saviour’s birth.

Airplanes and Hayley Williams

Could we pretend that airplanes in the night sky are like shooting stars
I could really use a wish right now, wish right now, wish right now…

Know Hayley Williams? She’s the voice in the chorus of B.O.B’s hit song Airplanes. I love that song. Did you know that B.O.B and Hayley has never met yet they had a song together. The recording was done separately so is the making of Airplane’s music video. Airplanes is included in the debut album of B.O.B, B.o.B Presents: The Adventures of Bobby Ray.

Hayley Williams is the lead vocals of the rock band from Tennessee called Paramore. Formed in year 2004, they already released 3 albums, All We Know is Falling, Riot!, Brand New Eyes and continue hitting the charts with hits such as Misery Business, That’s What You Get, Brick by Boring Brick, Careful. They did 2 tracks for Twilight OST, Decode and I Caught Myself.
