Wazzup, wazzup? Sucker Punch!

We watched Sucker Punch last night. It was owkey, didn’t reach my expectation but acceptable otherwise especially the high def effects. Think of living in a world you imagine just to escape the sad and bad reality you’re in, and that does not end there, Baby Doll still imagines inside her escape world. Eye candy and lot’s of mash-ups events, even dragons are there. Cute names aliesas and cast, starting with Emily Browning as poor Baby Doll, Jena Malone as Rocket, Abbie Cornish as Sweet Pea, Vanessa Hudgens as a brunette but calls Blondie and Jaime Chung as Amber.

I bought a Bible last night

I bought a Holy Bible last night.

And it’s not because of the its-the-end-of-the-world thingy.

I bought it because I finally remembered to buy it last night. Plain and simple. I’ve been wanting to buy a personal bible for myself, but everytime I’m in a bookstore I forget about it. I often buy fictional books instead, bad me.

So if you may I ask why I did?

Because I’ve been campaigning about the importance of reading books, from children stories to novels. I’ve read a lot from foreign and local authors but ironically, I never finished reading the greatest book ever written, the Holy Bible. Like one of my favorite Filipino author said read the bible even at least once in your life, it’s the greatest book ever written, read it. And if you think about it, he’s super right. I’m a self-proclaimed bookworm but I haven’t pass through Genesis? If there’s a book that everyone of us should start to read it’s the Holy Bible.

My mom said there’s a schedule of reading every day. But I’m not yet ready for it. I’ll read the bible my way first. Read it how I read my other books. Every night, from cover to cover.

Who knows? Maybe it’ll help me figure out what should I do with my life and how I’ll start my own story. And I’m hoping it’ll open my eyes and heart to a lot of things.

Buy or rent or borrow a bible, let’s start reading it. =)
