Here’s the poem made by Mr. Ninoy Aquino for Mrs. Cory Aquino while he was exiled at Fort Bonifacio. This poem was his gift to her for their 19th wedding anniversary. The poem is really sweet, a song of love, a
message that will constantly remind his love to his wife.

Tie a Yellow Ribbon for Cory Aquino
Cory Aquino, a plain house-wife turned first female President of the Philippines and in the whole Asia. An advodate of democracy and peace. A true representative of woman’s empowerment.
After her long battle for true meaning of democracy and selfless service to the Filipino people, she now faces her own war in the form of colon cancer. Now it’s our time to show gratitude to the person that brings back the democracy to our country.
I am participating and calling all the bloggers out there to join Barrio Siete’s “Touch a blogger: Tie a yellow ribbon for Cory Aquino!” campaign to show our support for the recovery of Cory Aquino.
“Madam Cory Aquino, I pray that you may have strength and courage to endure the all the trials you and your family is facing rigt now.
And I pray that may God give you strong faith and understanding to accpet whatever it is that is God’s will.”
